How Intelligent Robotic Thigh Prosthesis Is

Medi-Rehatek robotic thigh prosthesis takes 0.05 seconds to see the outline of the object when the object suddenly appears in front of human eyes.

And knee angle sensor and ankle torque sensor are the sensory system of intelligent bionic prosthetic knee joint. The sensors collect walk information for 50 times per second and guard the walk. It has the equivalentas every 0.02 seconds to collect a message.

In the current research and development, the best micro-processor chip can even collect foot movement sampling for 1000 times per second. This will ensure that the intelligent thigh prosthesis is only able to cover a wide range from slow to very fast pace.

Some amputees using intelligent prosthetic limbs can achieve about 120m / min that is so close to running speed.

Adaptive intelligent bionic prosthesis can detect different speeds of the amputees in time such as walking, going downhill, going down the stairs, stumbling and other different walking way and state.

The intelligent bionic prosthesis can offerappropriate control and support according to the above condition. It allows the intelligent prosthesis to follow and imitate the healthy limb movement, so that amputees can walk and stand like a normal person.

The adaptive intelligent bionic prosthesis not only has identification speed and nature gait, but also automatically identifies the condition like sitting, standing, flat road , slopes, stairs, stumbling andso onwhich can provide the appropriate support to ensure safety.

The new force sensor detects the load condition of the knee, the speed sensor detects the swayspeed. Two sensors co-operate to determine the different walking state and mode of the amputee. In addition to improving the gait, the intelligent bionic prosthesis can automatically adapt to condition changes in order to improve the activities capacity of amputees and reduce energy consumption.
